Jengana has been working in Kenya for over 15 years, based mainly in the Nairobi area. Jengana works with people living in extreme poverty, seeking to alleviate suffering and bring hope. Jengana means ‘building each other’. The work includes supporting both urban and rural communities - including a slum feeding programme, education support programme, supporting Kipepeo: a home for vulnerable children, as well as providing clean water to the local community.
I am going to Kenya this summer to help with the work of Jengana. All money raised will go to support these much needed projects.
