This summer Esther, Catherine and Charlie are going to Kenya with Jengana to help with their charity projects in Nairobi and in the countryside.
Long time Geography teachers Esther and Catherine love to get out of the classroom and see Geography in action. Catherine’s son Charlie is studying Geography GCSE and hopes to learn something too!
We all are conscious of our privileged lives compared to many in the world who have so little. We want to give our time and energy this summer to help however we can.
We have paid for our travel ourselves but have been targeted to raise £1000 each for Jengana’s projects. Jengana is a small charity and relies on its group participants to raise money for the range of projects they run in the children’s home, slums, local schools and countryside.
We would love it if you could give your time and money to support our fundraising activities for this worthwhile charity.
