This summer I am going to Kenya with Jengana to help with their charity projects in Nairobi and in the countryside.
As a Geography teacher who loves to get out of the classroom and see Geography in action this has been a long time dream of mine.
I am conscious how privileged our lives are compared to many in the world who have so little. I want to give my time and energy this summer to help however I can.
We have each been targeted to raise £1000 each for Jengana’s projects. Jengana is a small charity and relies on its group participants to raise money for the range of projects they run in the children’s home, slums, local schools and countryside.
I would love it if you could support my fundraising activities for this worthwhile charity.
On Saturday 6th June I will be participating in the Jengana challenge; a walk in the Mourne Mountains, a 7km kayak on Strangford Lough and then a 5km run along the shores of the Lough.
