Geography United is fundraising for Jengana

This summer Esther, Catherine and Charlie are going to Kenya with Jengana to help with their charity projects in Nairobi and in the countryside.

Geography teachers Esther and Catherine are joining forces with Catherine’s son Charlie to raise money. 

We have paid for our travel ourselves but have been targeted to raise £1000 each for Jengana’s projects. Jengana is a small charity and relies on its group participants to raise money for the range of projects they run in the children’s home, slums, local schools and countryside. 

We would love it if you could give your time and support our fundraising activities for this worthwhile charity. 

We are going to have a coffee morning on Saturday 23rd May in First Holywood Presbyterian church hall from 10 am - 12 noon. Come along for a cuppa and cake. 

Bring your friends and family.  

On Saturday 6th June we will be participating in the Jengana challenge; a walk; cycle; kayak and run! Welcome to come along and join in for the walk or sponsor our efforts.

On Saturday 20th June we are hosting an Old Skool disco night at Helen’s Bay with a DJ and supper included. Bring your partners and friends for a pre-school holiday catch up and night out. 7.30pm til late, or until the last train!!

In addition we will be running ballots and the chance to win prizes at our events.
